Abstract

Abstract:

The seeker pointing angle errors and the estimation error of the target Doppler frequency at the time of handover are investigated for an air to air missile using radar updated inertial midcourse guidance combined with active radar homing terminal guidance. Only the airborne radar measurement noises are considered. Moreover, the acquisition probabilities of the terminal guidance are computed.
