Abstract:

The motion characteristics of the Target Sensitivity Projectile(TSP),which is a newborn anti tank weapon, are studied in detail. The added fluid mass and inertia moment of the parachute are drawn into properly. The external forces and moments of the parachute and projectile are analyzed completely. A two body motion model of the TSP system, which is composed of the parachute and projectile, is established. A program chart of the whole TSP system is presented. The variations of scanning angular velocity, scanning angle, scanning locus and scanning cover field are shown. The computer results show a good agreement with the test results. The model can be applied further to ballistic correction, parameter optimization and ballistic simulation of TSP systems.
