A NEW DESIGN METHOD IN TIME DOMAIN FOR TWO-DIMENSIONAL RECURSIVE DIGITAL FILTERS

Abstract: A new design method in time domain for two-dimensional recursive digital filters is established in this paper. The design problem of two-dimensional recusive digital filter is transfered into the identification problem of two-dimensional LSI difference equation model, and the design problem of two-dimensional recursive digital filter in time domain is solved by using a new identification method which can estimate both the order and the parameter matrices of digital filter. The initial information matrix is small by using the real-time recursive algorithm, hence required internal menmory space is also small and it is practically useful. One design example is given in this paper.
