Abstract: A rectangular combustor with three dual-radial-swirler mixing cup sprayers, which have a centrifugal primer atomizer from BK-1 engine respectively, was used. With the view of studying the effect on combustor exit temperature distribution by different configuration of the dual -swirler sprayer devices, the combustion tests are conducted under atmospheric pressure air flow without heating. The results show that the air flow division between the first and the second swirler, the length of mixing cup, the rotation direction between adjacent sprayers are the important factors for Pattern Factor value. The reasonably designed sprayer with dual-swirler is able to improve the exit temperature distribution quality significantly, and the Pattern Factor is reduced a value of 0.06-0.09. The further study of the sprayer of dual-radial swirler will be useful to the short annular combustor development in advanced aeroengine design.
