Abstract: In this paper the compatibility check and error corrections of the flight test data of DORNIER DO 28 research aircraft are studied. A nonlinear six-degree-of-freedom kinematic multi-point mathematical model? including a lot of correction algorithms, is presented. The major contributions are as follows:(1) The windspeed vector, the airspeed vector, the angle of attack and the side slip angle in any local point are successfully reconstructed by building a quasi-stationary windfield model.(2) The relative time delays of all measured input/output signals are estimated with adequate precision using the equivalent first order lag time constants.(3) The measured heading (?)m, including discontinuous points in ±π, is appropriately transformed into continuous signal to avoid calculation errors.(4) The measured errors of angular velocities caused by sensor saturations are ingeniously compatrated for with the proposed semi-sine correction method. It should be emphe ized that the compatibility check results are fully acrified not on only for longitudinal fligln test data but also for lateral fight test data of the DO 28 Research afreraft.Reliably compa-tible flight test data are provided for the parameter identification of the DO 28 aircraft.
