Abstract: CGI is a device-independent graphics interface for users to develop CAD/CAM applications. Its defences to standard graphics interfaces will be presented. CGI-Versions for 2d and 3d Scopes(IBM3250, Adage4370, Adage6080, and IBM5080) are developed. This paper is concentrated on CGI for IBM5080 with the following features:application software probability, highly interactive usage and eass to program. Finally, several application examples are given to show the usage of CGI on ps340 and IBM5080.
