APPLICATION OF WAVELET TRANSFORM TO THE DIAGNOSIS OF EARLY RUB IMPACT FAULT BETWEEN ROTOR AND STATOR

Abstract:

The early rub impact fault between rotor and stator is diagnosed using the wavelet transform theory. After the simulating data of rub impact fault between rotor and stator are disintegrated in waveshapes through D20 wavelet, and are transformed through Gaussian wavelet, one can find that the wavelet transform can not only diagnose the early rub impact fault exactly, but also pinpoint the start and finish positions of rub impact, and one can also find that the two analysis results are coincident completely, so they can verify each other. Therefore,the conclusion can be achieved that to diagnose the early rub impact fault between rotor and stator using wavelet transform theory is very effective.
