RECONSTRUCTION OF C_P ON SURFACE OF AIRCRAFT BASED ON ALGORITHM OF SMOOTH INTERPOLATION RESTRICTE ON SURFACES

Abstract:

In order to solve the problem of calculation of C p surface on surface of aircraft, the authors discussed the problem of interpolating scattered data located on a 2 manifold in 3 D space. An algorithm for interpolating scattered data located on an arbitrary surface Σ which is topologically equivalent to a cylinder Σ 0 is given, which reconstructs a C 1 function on the surface Σ by using mapping and blending technique. With the application of the algorithm into the reconstruction of C p  surface on surface of aircraft on the condition of fixed angle of attack and Mach number, good results have been gotten.
