Abstract:

The domain decomposition technique is used in a 2D structured/unstructured grid to simulate the viscous flow field in the present paper. The O type structured grid near the neighbor of bodies is generated by using the advancing layer method and the unstructured grids are created by using the advancing front method outside the structured grid. The Reynolds averaged N S equations are solved with implementation of the Baldwin Lomax turbulence model in the structured grid. The Euler equations are solved in the unstructured grid. Two regions' solutions are coupled by using the condition on the interface for keeping the flux conservation. Numerical results show the effectiveness and applicability of the present method.
