Abstract: For solving the problem of small refrigeration power of common pulse tube refrigerators (CPTR), a new concept is put forward of large diameter pulse tube refrigerator (LDPTR). Theoretical warranty analysis and experimental study both indicate that LDPTR can produce more refrigeration power than CPTR.
