Rapid Modeling of Distribution of Aircraft Wake Dielectric Constant Based on Horseshoe Vortex Model

Abstract: For the convenience of the study of aircraft wake vortex scattering characteristics, a rapid modeling method for the wake dielectric constant distribution is put forward. In this article, the induced velocity field of an aircraft wake is obtained based on the horseshoe vortex model. From the velocity field, the Euler equation and isentropic flow method are used to work out the thermodynamic parameter distribution of the wake vortex, and then the dielectric constant distribution is obtained. At the same time, a method to extrapolate the result from one wake to another is proposed to avoid duplicate computation. This method has the advantage of requiring less computation with few parameters. Therefore it is a rapid and efficient method to simulate the aircraft wake dielectric constant distribution.
