Abstract: Expressions derivation of attack angle as the function of camera exterior orientation elements was presented on the basis of the collinearity equations providing a relationship between 2D coordinates in image plane and 3D coordinates in object space. On the hypothesis that spanwise coordinate Y of the targets on the model surface keeps constant in single-camera attack angle measurement, vibration effects of camera and model on the attack angle measurement were investigated. Effects of three angle exterior orientation elements (φ, ω, κ) vibrating from -2.0o to 2.0o and sideslip angle β vibrating from -2.0o to 2.0o at five different camera positions on model attack angle measurements were analyzed. Discussion on results shows that vibrations of φ and κ have an important influence on the attack angle measurement and the influence is not sensitive to attack angle and camera position while vibrations of ω and β have little influence on the attack measurement as camera is at normal projection position (optical axis of camera parallel with Y axis) but the influence increases fast as the camera position changes from the normal projection position.
