Abstract:

A dwell scheduling algorithm for resource scheduling of searching tracking and imaging tasks in digital array radar (DAR) is proposed. Based on the pulse interleaving technique, the algorithm can simultaneously achieve precise imaging of part of tracking targets using sparse-aperture cognitive inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) imaging during implementing searching and tracking tasks. A dynamic priority adjustment strategy for imaging tasks is adopted to improve the self-adaptive ability of radar system. Simulation results demonstrate that compared with conventional dwell scheduling algorithm, the proposed algorithm can take the imaging mission into account in the resource scheduling optimization model and realize multi-task parallel scheduling effectively to achieve higher resource utilization ratio and imaging quality as expected.
