Development of hypersonic flow research in China based on supported projects of NSFC

The hypersonic technique has been the technical commanding point of aeronautics and astronautics research in the 21 century, which has also become the national strategy target for many developed countries. First, the statistics on supported projects about hypersonic flow field of National Natural Science Foundation of China(NSFC) from 2000 to 2013 are presented. And then, the main research interests, interdisciplinary research, research team and young scientists training are introduced. Finally, some suggestions are given for the future research in hypersonic flow.
