Abstract��

In order to satisfy the urgent need of reading the fatigue section data  (a,t) of the test specimen for structure durability analysis, a set of CCD image processing system used to read and collect data of fatigue section is set up by utilizing computer image processing technology, and an application software of data processing is presented. By using this system, a series of functions for measuring the size of the fatigue section, integrating the area of region and determining the angle of the crack can be completed. This system has many remarkable advantages,such as high automation, simple operation, easy usage, high precision, and the image obtained can be saved, printed, or reused. It has been successfully used for evaluating the durability of the important structure for the plane of a certain type.
